Connecting and Caring for the Greater Washington Jewish Community
Jewish Federation of Greater Washington Careers and Employment
The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington — also known as ShalomDC — is the central fundraising and community planning organization for the Jewish community across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. For more than 100 years, the Federation has united thousands of donors, volunteers, and community partners around a shared commitment to Jewish life, Israel, and people in need worldwide.
Through its annual campaign, the Federation funds vital programs locally and globally — supporting Jewish social services, Holocaust survivor care, Israel emergency response, anti-hunger initiatives, Jewish camps, synagogues, day schools, and Hillel chapters. The Federation also invests in engaging the next generation of Jewish leaders through innovative programming and partnership with hundreds of local organizations.
Working at the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington means being part of a mission-driven team that strengthens Jewish identity, builds community, and responds to Jews in crisis — here and around the world.
